Rock ‘n’ Roll Guitar Show
This extraordinary show opener begins with a wall of ice 6 feet tall by 3 feet wide. Your guests will be amazed as the performers begin carving away pieces of the wall. Slowly the ice is transformed into the body of a guitar, though it’s only obvious to the trained eye. The audience is mystified — what is this supposed to be? The performers aren’t sure either, and turn to the audience for assistance.
The five frets which will make up the neck of the guitar are found hiding under tables. As one of the Ice Men brings the frets to the stage, the other stacks them on top of the body of the guitar to complete the neck. Wow! It’s a guitar! The only thing missing are the strings and tuning pegs. The tuning pegs are produced. One of the performers may select a member of the audience to assist with tossing the tuning pegs to the other Ice Man on a ladder to complete the guitar. Once the tuning pegs are in place the strings of the guitar are carved. To close the show the traditional toast is given.
Ice Chopper Show
This wild and crazy show, otherwise known as the “Five Easy Pieces,” begins with five blocks of colorfully veiled ice placed around the stage. Each block of ice is individually sculpted into a piece of the puzzle, though it’s impossible to figure out what the finished product will be.
First a tire, then handlebars and a seat appear. Finally, the five pieces are pushed together and transformed in to an ice-cycle, half sled/half motorcycle. With seating for two right on top, it provides the perfect photo op. As with all the shows, this one closes with a toast.
Logo Reveal Show
This high energy performance begins with a veiled wall of ice approximately 8′ by 6′, looming at the rear of the stage. This wall of ice is transformed in front of your eyes by the performers as they carve away piece by piece to reveal your logo sculpted out of ice.
In some performances portions of the wall are covered in spiky shards of ice and snow for effect. Hidden behind them are objects that accent your logo, adding an element of creativity your event. In other performances, portions of the wall are moved to create objects that work with your event theme or logo, which helps drive home whatever message you need your attendees to leave with. Whether it’s just artwork, letters, logos or numbers, your creation will be revealed at the end of the show with a traditional toast.
CEO Show
Imagine a solitary ice box on the stage, the average size roughly 4’ x 4’ x 8’. As the lights come up, the audience becomes aware of movement and sound coming from inside. It’s the Ice Men, stuck inside, slowly cutting themselves out. First an arm, then a leg or a head appears. Finally, portions of the ice box come crashing down as the Ice Men break free of the icy prison.
Three performers step out and begin carving away at the remaining ice. Two Ice Men work feverishly, perhaps creating your company logo on a podium or something symbolic of the event’s theme. The third Ice Man is busy with tasks toward the back of the stage, though it’s not clear exactly what he’s up to.
Once the objects are carved the traditional toast is under way. But wait — there’s one too many performers on stage. The two real carvers begin stripping the imposter’s costume away, first the jacket and finally the hat and sunglasses, to reveal your CEO. The costume is large enough to encompass a fully dressed person. A microphone is brought to the stage as the CEO steps to the logo-ed podium to address the audience and join the Ice Men for the traditional toast.
Table and Chairs Show
This show starts either with a box of ice 4’ x 4’ x 8’ or a wall of ice, depending on stage location and room design. As the lights come up the audience begins to see movement and sound coming from inside the box. As with the CEO show, the Ice Men are stuck inside the box and must cut their way out. An arm, a leg and a head appears, and finally the walls come crashing down. What an entrance!
Your event emcee rushes onstage to see what is happening and decides to invite the Ice Men to join the party. “Just find a seat,” they’re instructed. After searching for a place to sit, they realize there is no appropriate place for them with the audience. So, they decide to create their own table and chairs from the remaining pieces of ice left on stage. Taking portions of the ice, they sculpt them into a tabletop, which could host your logo, and two chairs. After carefully placing a centerpiece, they ultimately sit for the traditional toast.
